Kids Meet the World!

Kids Meet the World is a place for children who are interested in international exchange and want to speak different languages, and for foreigners who want to support kids' language skills through playing.
We manage your profile, introduce, and dispatch you as a private language instructor.
Contribute to their growth by interacting, conversing in different languages, and helping them learn about different cultures from an early age.

Contribute to child's growth
For children, speaking and listening to different languages from abroad during their childhood will greatly help them grow in their cultural understanding. Knowing the different cultures of each country is also an opportunity to embrace your identity.
Support kids anywhere in Japan
Meeting can be held in a park, cafe, or any other suitable location in Japan. Then, have an enjoyable time playing with kids and support their speaking skill.
Decide your price and schedule.
You can decide your own price and schedule. You can also request to change it anytime. Work and support kids whenever you want.
Consult to KMW
You can consult KMW support when something happens. Feel free to ask anything such as how/what to play, tools for playing, material, payment, etc.

Working Flow

Step.1
Apply by filling out our form
Please registrate here --> application form and create your profile and message for kids. 
Kindly wait for the approval email from KMW management.
Step.2
Receive an email and setting a meeting schedule
Your profile will be shown to our customer's page where they can choose an instructor. Once you are chosen, you will receive an email from them so please reply to their message within 3 days of their email to arrange your first meeting.

Step.3
Support language exchange through playing
Gather at the meeting place on your scheduled date.

In principle, public places such as parks and cafes around the station are highly recommended for both children and instructors.
For private places such as home, please consult directly with customer or you can also consult KMW management.
In the end, parent will directly give you the fee including the drink and transportation costs (Cashless payment is also encouraged).

 Example activity of meet up with kids (1hour)

STEP 1
First meeting (Nice to meet you!)
10:00AM
On the day of your meet up, please inform them of the color of your clothes or details where they can easily identify you.
Greet kids and parents too. Many parents are not good at English.
If you can speak Japanese, even basic, you may use it too to talk with parents.
STEP 2
Start playing (Let's play!)
10:05AM
Start playing at the park or cafe or wherever you decide to meet. Children love to move, so let's move and play together. It's also a good idea to bring a ball or toys to play with them.
Kindly prepare some games they can play or something that you can play with them.
STEP 3
Support conversation (Let's talk!)
10:20AM
After a break, practice conversation on the bench. If you prepare material for kids in advance, it would be easier to communicate with them.
Also, please introduce your country's language and culture with pictures and photographs. Your student will surely be interested.
STEP 3
Photo & High Five (Say Cheese!)
10:50AM
Before finishing the meeting, kindly have a Q and Q about you and kids. It will be great for you and the client to know each other more. After that, you will take pictures together and prepare for farewell.
Some may still be shy, and some may beg for not wanting to go home.

Farewell greeting (See you!)
11:00AM
You will receive a fee including drink fee and transportation expenses. If your student or parent likes you, it's a good idea to make the next reservation on the spot.

    How do I make instructor's profile?
    A
    Please fill out our application form. Then, KMW will send an email with the consent form attached. After receiving your consent form, your profile will be put on our website for parents. You can also request to update it to KMW anytime.

    How will kids contact me?
    A
    Mainly, parents will usually contact you for the first time by sending an e-mail to your registered e-mail address after they have received your contact information from us.
    Please check your email, including spam, frequently as their e-mails might be sent there.

    How do I get paid?
    A
    The parents are informed to pay you directly by cash including transport and drink fee before ending the meeting. You can also get paid by cashless such as PayPay, LINE pay in case the parent uses it too.

    I don't speak Japanese well. Can I still apply?
    A
    Yes, parents use this program for letting their kids improve their conversation skills, so please talk to them in your language.

    How much can I charge and how much do I earn?
    A
    You can name your price and let KMW management know so we can put it to your profile. You may want to change it too as you deem fit so just inform KMW then we will update your profile.

    Where do meetings take place?
    A
    Mainly, The meeting takes place in public places such as cafes, parks, near train stations, etc. 
    Please meet in a public place for playing and supporting until you and your clients get to know each other.

    You can send it to KMW management through e-mail then we will update your profile.
